simmer
these poets' elixirs
undo my lips
ambered words
simmer slowly
in velvet arms
For Ô¿Ô, Ozymandiaz and C.S. Perez. Three poets from the three corners: East, West, and and what remains. Offering delectable ink for the wet anthology.
Don't be fooled though. These poets aren't confined to the planes of eros.
As Ozymandiaz demonstrates. His beautifully wrought lyric sounds off this week's Ringing of the Bards X. Weaving in the works of others to unravel the heart of a poet, he just may reveal your own weak seams.

Simmer indeed. Nice one my friend.
They say, "a picture paints a thousand words" and you "painted a thousand pictures using thirteen words".
thank you sir! you know what i like most about this poem? is that i can mix up the lines in any combination and still feel something evocative and meaningful. wasn't my intent when i started, but glad it turned out that way.
Delicious depiction! The previous post is right--you can interchange them, and there's a whole new meaning.
I think I can actually, physically feel every line.
I'm thrilled to be a part of the anthology.
Thanks, Scherehazade. Cheers.
Soft, warm, vibrant poem.
I'll look into the links. :)
BTW, cool new graphics in your sidebar! Love 'em!
Jo: thank you for visiting and your kind words (i enjoyed your poetry as well)
Ô¿Ô: no sweat man
silverm00n: thank you; i like this lots; glad you like the sidebar too; it comforts me
Ambered was my favourite word. If poets elixir undoes your lips (blush) you should try Jagermeister or tequila lol!
my favorite word too! this was the anchor word of the poem... and i just love verbalizing adjectives.
oh and please behave! i really was just alluding to how the WP bring a comely smile to my lips. really. *knowing grin*
It seems elixirs abound...'tis an elegant and saucy poem. Nicely done.
Slimmer
these poets sexirli
undo my hips
am breed sword
slimmers lowly
in velvet rams
KGT: thank you and glad you dropped in.
Smart A.S.S.: you are a clever crunchy insect aren't you?!? I loved this though. A perfect parody. "Sexirli" and "breed sword"...brilliant. And indeed, it undid my lips this morning.*broad smile*
I love your use of undo my lips it reminds me of how this part of our body can display genuine and natural feelings but is so often unused, as if put away in a box. Such a happy, spontaneous, sensuous place, it is a shame we so often keep it in forgetfulness.
Thanks so much for your kindnesses Mastera. They really are uplifting...help keep me writing...
